Meet Dimple and Jatin Kumar, a Visha Skincare Power Couple. Together, they own and operate the Hotel Napolean in Memphis while juggling their relationship and raising two children – Navya and Aaren.
Dimple began using the Visha Skincare Bump 2 Baby Body Balm and the Mommy Brightener a year and a half ago to fade dark spots before telling Jatin about the Advanced Skin Care Line. When did you two first meet?
Jatin: We met in May 2000 in Knoxville, Tennessee at a wedding. It was a mutual friend’s wedding. My first cousin used to live in Knoxville, and she was friends with Dimple. She had tried to introduce us a couple of months before the wedding. At the wedding, she put us in touch. We got to see each other and hang out.
What year did you get married?
Jatin: We married in 2004.
When did you notice you two had a connection?
Dimple: We both grew up with an Indian family and background. We had a good blend of love for our Indian culture and also just being an America. It was a good blend. That’s what we liked about each other.
Jatin: Both of us shared the same stories growing up. Believe it or not, her parents used to live in California when I was born. Her mother had come to visit me when I was a baby. A year later, they moved to North Carolina and that’s where Dimple was born.
What do you both of you do for a living?
Jatin: We’re both in the hotel business. We’re currently developing hotels in Memphis.
What is like balancing work and life together?
Jatin: We’re lucky. We get to work with each other. We get to spend a lot of time together throughout the day. I might be off for a couple of hours, and then I’ll come back home and we’ll end up doing a lot of paper work and bookkeeping.
Dimple: I take care of the kids. We have two kids: Navya and Aaren. I’m juggling between their stuff and helping Jatin out.
What is your description of love?
Dimple: It’s all about spending time together.
Jatin: We travel a lot together. Luckily, we get to spend with each other. We work out together in the mornings and we drop the kids off together. We do spend a lot of quality time together.
How long have you been using Visha Skincare?
Dimple: I’ve been using it for about a year and a half. It’s worked great. Jatin just started using it recently. When I was using it, I asked him to try it. He didn’t use the Mommy line, so went and got the Advanced Bright Eye Booster for him.
What products do you use and why?
Dimple: I have really dry skin, so I love using the Bump 2 Baby Body Balm and the 5-in-1 Mommy Brightener on my face. Now that I’m aging, I have a lot of spots. It’s helped fade some of it. Even the Bright Eye Booster has helped with my dark circles from sleepless nights with the kids. I’ve noticed a lot of difference since before I started using it.
Jatin: I like using the Advanced Purifying Cleanser. I wash my face twice a day. Recently, I’ve tried that product and the Bright Eye Booster mainly to reduce the eye bags.
How has Visha Skincare boosted your confidence?
Dimple: it makes me feel younger. It helps with all the spots and makes me feel like I’m not aging that fast.
Jatin: The Cleanser is a very gently cleanser. My skin is very sensitive. With that product, I haven’t noticed any other breakouts.
